Wolff dismisses claims expectations are higher for Antonelli now that he leads F1 Drivers’ Champions

As the Formula 1 circus heads into Round 4 of the 2026 season held at the F1 Miami Grand Prix, all eyes are set to be on Kimi Antonelli. The Mercedes driver has become the youngest driver in history to lead the World Drivers’ Championship which of course comes with its own set of pressures and expectations. Despite this, Toto Wolff has dismissed the notion that Mercedes has set higher expectations for Antonelli because of his recent jump in the Driver’s standings.
